Connect With A Volunteer

Let us get to know you. Take a chance, we have so much to share.

Reaching out and seeking a volunteer visitor can be a challenging step to take. We acknowledge this and our coordinators will support you on your journey to seek companionship. Our volunteers are trained, reference and police checked and supported throughout their volunteering with JoCare so as to bring you brightness in your day.

Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme visits are available to anyone who:

  • resides in a government-subsidised residential aged care facility
  • or receives a home care package, including care recipients approved and waitlisted for  a home care package.
  • And is socially isolated.

The scheme has been running for over 30 years. It was previously known as the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). (JoCare was previously an auspice of CVS)

Through donations JoCare is also able to support those in the community who are seeking companionship but are not are not eligible for ACVVS.

Please complete our inquiry form and one of our coordinators will be in contact with you shortly.
